SUBSTANCE: postoperative band consists of central part corresponding to the abdominal cavity and lateral parts with fixing elements on the edges. Central part is oval, rectangular lateral parts are fully-fixed on both sides of the central part. On the internal side of the band along the join of its central and lateral parts there are two quadrate-shaped pillows of soft material, side of the quadrate equals width of the lateral part of the band. On the external side of the band on the same level there are also two fully-fixed lateral rectangular plates made of elastic material. Their length is equal to the width of the lateral part of the band, and their axes are located in the plane perpendicular to the axis of the band. Plates have three openings evenly spaced from each other. Central rectangular plate is fully-fixed on the external side of the band in the middle of its central part, the plate is also made of elastic material. Its length equals maximum width of the band in its central part. Axis of the central plate is placed perpendicular to the axis of the band. Central plate also has two pairs of openings. Two pairs are located along the upper and lower edges of the central plate and one pair in its centre. Band has six elastic strips, strained correspondingly between openings in the central and lateral plates.

EFFECT: ensures compensation of pressure upon abdominal wall.
