FIELD: oil- and gas-producing industry for mechanical perforation of oil and gas wells. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic jet perforator has a body, piston and nozzle with hole. Made in piston is a cone. Nozzle diameter is selected under conditions of excess of product of supplied working fluid pressure and ratio of square of cone base radius to square of nozzle hole radius over ultimate strength of perforated pipe material. Piston is made to be pressed to wall of perforated pipe. EFFECT: high pressure of fluid perforating jet due to installation of cone with rated parameters to avoid use of sand and to reduce time taken for operation; simplified perforation operation. 1 dwg
