FIELD: cooling of low-humidity locations in hot shops and foundries, and in arid-climate regions. SUBSTANCE: air- conditioner has vortex tube with tangential inlet for compressed air, cold outlet communicating with mixing and distributing device, and hot outlet communicating with gas accumulating chamber, as well as cooling chamber filled with water, water level maintenance device communicating with cooling chamber, and dispensing device whose inlet communicates with gas accumulating chamber through pipeline and its outlet, with mixing and distributing device; hot section of vortex tube with gas accumulating chamber and dispensing device are installed in cooling chamber. Proposed air-conditioner ensures air humidification and bringing of conditioned air temperature to specified sanitary standards and using low pressure of compressed air.
