FIELD: metallurgy; applicable in strip continuous casting with use of two-roll continuous casting machines. SUBSTANCE: device has a refractory nozzle installed between rolls at equal distance. The nozzle wall has slot-like outlet holes directed to limiting plates. The nozzle is installed with displacement of center of sections of outlet holes downward relative to center of profile formed by curves of roll working surfaces, line running through roll axes, and line tangent to roll surfaces in upper point. Said displacement amounts to 0.25-0.05 roll diameter. The nozzle wall may have one pair of slot-like holes parallel to nozzle longitudinal axis or two pairs of holes symmetrical to nozzle longitudinal axis with an angle between axes of their sections of 45-90 deg. In the first case, nozzle bottom may have additional pair of slot-like holes perpendicular to holes in nozzle wall. Such location of nozzle and holes in it ensures uniform distribution of metal flow in mold, stable casting process and, consequently, high quality of castings. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 5 dwg
