FIELD: petroleum chemistry. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant is intended for production of high-octane products in form of alkyl tertiary-alkyl esters or in form of high-octane hydrocarbon mixtures containing dimmers and/orcodimers and/or trimers of alkenes from mixtures containing alkenes; plant includes reaction unit with reactors with acid ionite catalyst, two rectification columns and water extraction unit. Some pipe lines connecting separate apparatus of plant are provided with devices for fully shutting-off flows in pipe lines. Pipe lines are divided into two functional groups. For production of esters and their mixtures with high-octane hydrocarbons, flows in pipe lines of second functional group are fully shut-off and for production of hydrocarbon high-octane mixtures, flows of pipe lines of first functional group are fully shut-off. High-octane products are produced from alkene-containing mixtures with the aid of plant. For production of esters and their mixtures with high-octane hydrocarbons, considerable amounts of isoalkenes and alcohols are delivered to reaction unit; for production of hydrocarbon high-octane mixtures, considerable amounts of isobutene and/or n- butenes and/or propene without delivery of considerable amount of alcohols .
