FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method of synthesis of trifluoromethane sulfoacid anhydride used for synthesis of derivatives of trifluoromethane sulfoacid in fine organic synthesis, in production of drugs, fungicides, extractants and catalysts. Method involves dehydration of trifluoromethane sulfoacid with phosphorus oxide (V) under decreased pressure, at temperature of mixture 95-130 C followed by distillation off of mixture formed and removal of the end required fraction under alternation of pressure from 150 to 600 mm of mercury column. EFFECT: enhanced quality of ready product, increased yield and productivity of process. 4 cl, 1 tbl
