FIELD: processing of secondary lead wastes, storage battery scrap in particular. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes two-stage melting of metal and sulfate oxide fraction for crude lead-antimony alloy and slag matte damp waste product; melting of upgraded scrap is performed in sulfide-sulfate sodium melt; melting of metal fraction at first stage and melting of sulfate oxide fraction at second stage is performed in continuously circulating melt; circulation of melt is performed by gas-lift method combined with oxidizing or reducing of melt.
