FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed barring gear designed for rotation of turbomachine rotors has electric motor of barring mechanism, control time forming unit, tachogenerator connected with turbine rotor, and rotor dynamic characteristics analyzer placed in circuit connecting tachogenerator with forming unit. Barring gear has also differential gear train whose input shaft is connected to electric motor of barring mechanism, regulating shaft is connected to regulating electric machine, and output shaft is connected to gear train. Regulating electric machine is connected to output of control unit. One of inputs of control unit is connected to control time forming unit. It has also position setter, speed setter and accelerator setter whose outputs are connected to inputs of control time forming unit, and three adders connected by their outputs to corresponding inputs of control unit. Some inputs of adders are connected to outputs of control time forming unit. Other inputs of three adders are connected, respectively, to outputs of turning angle transmitter, tachogenerator and differentiator, while input of differentiator is connected to one of outputs of tachogenerator and turning angle transmitter is coupled with turbine rotor. Such design of barring gear improved reliability owing to use of differential gear train coupling drive electric motor and turbine rotor and makes it possible to improve accuracy of turning owing to automatic control of speed and acceleration in process of operation of barring gear. EFFECT: improved reliability.
