FIELD: foundry, specifically, analysis of any moulding and core sands used at engineering works. SUBSTANCE: device has punch made in the form of stepped cylinder. Cylinder of larger diameter is located inside sleeve and cylinder of smaller diameter has side through annular groove running along its element. Plate anchored on L- shaped rod is mounted for movement inside cylinder of larger diameter perpendicular to its axis. One arm of rod is positioned on axis of cylinders and another arm of it is brought into side annular groove of cylinder of smaller diameter. Scale is marked on outer surface of cylinder of smaller diameter. EFFECT: reduced time of test, higher reproducibility and accuracy of experiments, emergence of possibility of testing sands of high fluidity. 1 dwg
