FIELD: acceleration equipment, generation of electron and ion beams of nanosecond duration with high pulse repetition frequency. SUBSTANCE: line induction accelerator has ferromagnetic induction system in the form of set of ferromagnetic cores embraced by magnetization turns. Electrodes of single forming line are attached to finishes of turns. Opposite ends of electrodes are connected to magnetic pulse generator designed to charge electrodes of forming line. One of electrodes of forming line is grounded and open. Magnetic pulse commutator in the form of single-turn saturation choke is placed at point of opening. Magnetic pulse generator is sequence of circuits comprising capacitors and saturation chokes. It is proposed that forming line should have capacitance 1.3-1.8 times less than capacitance of capacitor of last circuit of magnetic pulse generator to raise maximum power across load. EFFECT: increased charging voltage of single forming line, reduced time of its discharge to load. 1 cl, 1 dwg
