Invention involves soluble polypeptide fractions of membrane protein LAG-3 that can be used as immunosuppressants, method of their preparing and antibodies that are able to prevent specific fixation of protein LAG-3 on CMH molecules (the main complex of histocompatibility) of class II and can be used as immunostimulators. The claimed peptides show ability to bind with CMH molecules of class II and immunosuppressing effect in combination with unexpected immunostimulating effect of anti-CD4-antibodies.
