FIELD: glass-making industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises formulation of blend from glass-forming and iron-containing components and adding sodium sulfate and addition of sodium sulfate and mixture of cobalt- titanium components and graphite in amounts and proportions as determined by ratio of iron oxides and allowing for light transmission of glass of at least 70% of glass thickness of 5 mm and transmission of full solar energy of not higher 50%. Glass has maximum light transmission within wave lengths of 0.50-0.55 mcm. EFFECT: more efficient manufacturing method. 3 cl, 3 ex
