FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blue glass. Blue glass contains the following components, wt%: SiO2 – 65.0–75.0; Al2O3 – 0.9–5.0; CaO – 7.0–10.0; MgO – 3.0–5.0; K2O – 0.3–0.6; Na2O – 13.0–20.0; SO3 – 0.2–0.4; Fe2O3 (total iron) – 0.65–0.95; FeO – 0.15–0.33; CoO – 0.003–0.03; Se – 0–0.011; Redox glass is within 0.23–0.35. Following components are introduced into the mixture for producing blue glass, kg/1 t of glass mass: iron oxide – crocus 2.5–4.5, iron powder 2.5–4.5, sodium nitrate NaNO3 3.5–5.0, sodium sulphate 5.0–8.0, where NaNO3+NaCI+Na2SO4=11.0–13.0; Na2SO4:(NaNO3+NaCI)=1:(0.7–1.3). Glass has a thickness of – 5 mm dominant wavelength (λDW,) in range of 480–489 nm, purity of color (C) – 7.0–12.0, optical and energy parameters, respectively, within the limits of, %: LTA – 30–70; TSUV – 29–41; TSIR – 20–33; TSET – 27–48.

EFFECT: obtaining blue sheet glass with lighting and power parameters, which provide improved comfort inside glazed spaces.
