FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: modified polymeric materials based on epoxy resins are prepared by mixing epoxydiane resin, hardener such as primary or secondary amine or catalyst such as tertiary amine and modifier in amount of 2-30 wt. % of composition. Modifier includes alkyl acrylates containing volume alkyl substituents of formula: n= 6/12 and/or methacrylates containing carbonate groups -OC(0) O and/or aminoadducts of said alkylacrylates or methacrylates. Composition is hardened using stepwise rise of temperature. Claimed method has simplified technology and makes it possible to prepare materials with controllable brittleness.
