FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the creation of materials of reduced flammability from epoxy resin, which can be used as independent composites and as binders to create polymer composite materials for general and special purposes. A method for producing composites of reduced flammability based on epoxy resin is proposed, in which the epoxy resin ED-20 is mixed with a phosphate modifier and an amine-type hardener and the resulting composition is cured, while a pre-obtained mixture is used as a modifier: 1-3.5 wt. pts. orthophosphoric acid, 0.1-0.35 wt. pts. ammonium hydrophosphate and 0.01-0.04 wt. pts. aluminum; triethylenetetramine is used as a hardener, and the introduction of a modifier, hardener and curing of the resulting composition is carried out at room temperature, with the following ratio of components, wt. pts.: ED-20 100.00, modifier 1.11-3.89, triethylenetetramine 10.0.
EFFECT: simplification of the method for obtaining composites of reduced flammability, which makes it possible to obtain composites with improved physical and mechanical characteristics.
