POWDER PAINT FOR COATINGS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: preparation of epoxy-polyether powder paints, particularly, protective-decorative coatings of metal, silicate building materials in machine building, radio engineering and instrument making. SUBSTANCE: powder paint comprises solid epoxydiane resin; solid polyether resin is product of reaction of resinous fibrous production waste with multihydric alcohols and phthalic anhydride distillation waste, and also hardening catalyst, pigments and spread regulator. Combination of components in certain ratio allows one to prepare paint for coatings which becomes hardened at temperatures from 180 to 220 C for 20-30 m with low manufacturing cost due to utilization of phthalic anhydride production waste.
