SUBSTANCE: invention utilizes following bacterium strains: Thiobacillus aguaesulis, Thiobacillus thioparus or Thiobacillus denitrificans, or their different combinations. Process is usually carried out at 4 to 60 C and pH 6-9 and results in removal of sulfur, nitrogen, and oxygen from oil and diminishes hydrocarbon molecules.
