FIELD: microbiological fuel production. SUBSTANCE: following bacterial cultures are used for production of oil hydrocarbons from solid combustible fossils: Thiobacillus aquaesulis, Thiobacillus denitrificans, and Thiosphaera taken in any proportions. Suspension of starting material (humite, coal, brown coal, peat) is treated in presence of hydrogen-donor substance (acids, phenols, naphthalene, tetralin, cresol) commonly at 4 to 60 C and pH 6-9. In case of peat, additional bacteria Thiobacillus thioparus are used. Products: oil hydrocarbons, mazut, goudron, linear and branched paraffins, naphtenes, aromatics, and heterocyclic compounds, all products being of importance as fuel components. EFFECT: increased fuel resource. 5 cl
