FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for cleaning water at water intake from small-size debris, algae, water insects and their larvae. Water intake works is arranged on water storage and is proved with watertight partitioning structure furnished with filtering element of loose material and arranged lower than minimum water level in water storage across partitioning structure, and clear water intake device arranged at end side of filtering element which is arranged in rigid closed envelope provided with inlet and outlet cassettes made in form of nondeformable framework filled up with binding penetrable material. Device to control water rate is installed before cassette at inlet. Vertical shaft is connected to envelope after cassette. Inlet of shaft is located higher than maximum water level water storage. Shaft inlet is made accessible. Cassettes are installed for removal. EFFECT: provision of quick and easy replacement of filtering element if it has lost its filtering capacity, provision of supply with water of required quality. 1 dwg
