FIELD: electrical engineering; television sets and computer monitors. SUBSTANCE: high-voltage transformer incorporating diode-type divider is designed for operation at voltages exceeding 20 kV. High-voltage winding is disposed in coil former compartments under primary winding. In order to reduce electric field between coil former and core and to prevent corona inner surface of former is covered with conducting coating incorporating colloidal graphite in its composition. Conducting coating may be made in the form of metal-coated plastic film wound between core and coil former. Space between core and former may be filled with material whose relative permeability εr is much greater than that of air. High-voltage windings are essentially fully closed with primary winding so that they are actually completely shielded from noise radiation built up in high-voltage winding. EFFECT: reduced space requirement and cost, enhanced electric strength in continuous mode of operation. 10 cl, 6 dwg
