FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed self-propelled forage harvester has frame resting on road wheels, cabin, engine, rear axle, cutting table, feeder and cutterhead and discharge chute, all mounted on frame. Upper sidemembers of frame are arranged over cutterhead and are connected with lower sidemembers by four posts. Lower sidemembers in middle part of frame are connected by at least two crossmembers connected by at least one longitudinal beam. At least one rear axle mounting bracket is arranged on longitudinal beam and/or crossmember. EFFECT: improved reliability and increased service life of harvester owing to increased rigidity of frame and improved mass and dimensional characteristics. 8 cl, 12 dwg
