SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of medicinal species used for prophylaxis and treatment of patients with alcoholic abstinent syndrome and alcoholic hepatitis. Species contains the following medicinal plants: swampy cudweed herb, peppermint leaves, common cowberry leaves, tall elecampane roots and rhizomes, Eleutherococcus senticosus roots, haw-thorn fruits, rose fruits taken in the following ratio of components: swampy cudweed herb, 0.5; peppermint leaves, 1; common cranberry leaves, 1; tall elecampane roots and rhizomes, 2.5; Eleutherococcus senticosus roots, 1; haw-thorn fruits, 2; rose fruits, 2. Treatment with the proposed species results to elimination of psychosomatic and somatovegetal body disorders, improvement of biochemical indices of hepatobiliary system state in 40 patients for 5-10 days.
