FIELD: devices for purification and disinfection of potable and service waters. SUBSTANCE: device has body with unit for preparation of water-air mixture, high-voltage and grounded electrodes located under unit, vessel for collection of treated water. Each electrode is made in the form of parallel conductors secured between two busbars. High-voltage and grounded electrodes are parallel and located one above the other. Conductors of one electrode are perpendicular to conductors of the other electrode. Supplied to electrodes are high-voltage pulses. Initiated between electrodes is discharge close to space discharge. Water is supplied to unit for preparation of water-air mixture under pressure of several atmospheres, flies out of unit in the form of finely divided drops to entrap air and mix with it, and gets in zone of pulse electric discharge. EFFECT: higher efficiency of water treatment and disinfection due to use of space-type discharge and high degree of water dispersion. 2 dwg, 1 tbl
