SUBSTANCE: hydraulic tightener contains hollow cylindrical housing 2, cover 4 with check valve 5, power spring 6, and plunger 3 made in shape of sleeve. The housing and the plunger form together high-precision pair. The plunger 3 is provided with row of grooves of unsymmetrical section and two additional grooves 20, 25. One of the grooves is located in the space between grooves 10 of the device and groove 9 for assembling ring. Groove 25 of rectangular section is provided from the side of the open end face of plunger 3. Housing 2 of the hydraulic tightener is provided with groove which receives thrust ring 11.
