FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has housing 1 with base 2 and cover 3. Cylindrical bead 4 with axial groove 5 is made on base 2 of housing 1. Ring bores 6 are made on inner surface of cylindrical bead 4 with pitch "K" in which thrust rings 7 are fitted. Plunger 8 is secured on cover 3. Grooves 9 are made on outer surface of plunger with pitch "t". Pitch "k" of ring bores 6 is not divisible by pitch "t" of grooves 9, i.e. k=1.5t. Spacer spring 10 is fitted along outer surface of axial groove 5. Cover 3 is provided with axial projection 11 in form of shell. Stepped groove made on outer surface of cylindrical bead 4 accommodate mounting ring 13 which can engage with trapezoidal profile bore 14 on inner surface of axial projection 11 of cover 3 to form mounting capsule.
EFFECT: improved reliability and serviceability of automatic tensioner of flexible members.
