FIELD: mechanical engineering; high-pressure fuel pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed high-pressure pump contains housing with mounting cylindrical surface and flange, plunger, control valve with electromagnetic drive and spaces and channels is housing to let in, let out and deliver fuel. Pump housing consists of two parts interconnected by threaded joint. Upper part accommodates control valve, low-pressure spaces and channels to let in, let out and deliver fuel. Lower part accommodates plunger, channels to let in, deliver and remove drain fuel. Threaded joint of housing parts is provided with end face seal out of zone of arrangement of plunger. Grooves made on upper part of housing on its mounting cylindrical surface form two divided low-pressure spaces, one of which is designed to let in and other to let out fuel from control valve. Threaded part of lower part of housing is made out of zone of hole for plunger, and flats for wrench are made on its outer mounting surface.
EFFECT: improved manufacturability, repairability and reliability of single-plunger fuel pump in operation.
