FIELD: ophthalmology, in particular, colored contact lenses capable of strengthening or changing the color of the eye-lens carrier. SUBSTANCE: the contact lens changing the eye color has a pattern of the iris of the eye made of color elements enveloping the transparent part of the pupil. The pattern includes three circular parts: the internal part, intermediate part and the external part. The internal and external parts each includes a great number of color elements capable of strengthening or changing the color of the eye-lens carrier at a perception on the side. The intermediate part occupies an area of about 25 to 72% and contains a great number of color elements covering 5 to 30% of its area. The color elements in the intermediate part make up a lattice of practically radial microgrooves intermitting with the cuts with color lobes and the cuts without the color elements. EFFECT: reduced cost of contact lenses strengthening or changing the color of the eye-lens carrier, imparted depth to the eye, produced structure close to the structure of the natural eye. 33 cl, 3 dwg, 2 tbl
