FIELD: electrical engineering and measuring equipment, applicable in devices for transduction of an electric signal to torque relative to the device axis. SUBSTANCE: in the armature of the DC commutator torque motor containing a core with a winding and a commutator with copper bars a layer of palladium, 0.01 mm thick, is made on the commutator copper bars by the method of electrolytic precipitation. At realization of the method for manufacture of the armature of the DC commutator torque motor by assembly of the core, making of the winding, assembly of the core with the commutator, the armature is impregnated with epoxy resin, that is polymerized, the core surface is coated with elastic enamel, the commutator bars get connected to the cathode of the palladium electroplating bath containing electrolyte with a pH-value of 8; 10 and concentration of metallic palladium up to 10 g/l, direct current with a density up to 0.5 A/sq. dm is applied in conformity with the surface of the copper bars to be coated, and this condition is cured until a layer of noble metal of palladium, up to 0.01 mm thick is obtained. The thickness of the given layer is determined according to the mass of the sample piece immersed in electrolyte simultaneously with the armature.
