FIELD: electrical and computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive uses high-speed ac motors. Frequency-changer power switch incorporates two control and power-switch state (ON or OFF) data signal passing channels isolated by means of optocouplers which makes it possible for the drive to dispense with transformers and especially with their circuits in power equipment of frequency changer and motor. Higher-power circuits are proposed. EFFECT: enhanced motor speed, reduced mass and size, improved power characteristics, enhanced reliability. 14 cl, 19 dwg
