Teeth faces are sharpened to form wedge-shaped ends with rounded parts in mutually perpendicular planes to prevent tubers from damage. Construction of potato digger allows it to be held with both hands in standing position. It may be used as ripper, hoe, thinner and other tool for soil tillage and weed control on home's ground and in the gardens.
