FIELD: aircraft manufacture. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preliminary assembly of panels at rigid connection of skin with longitudinal load-bearing members-spars and stringers, as well as transversal load-bearing members - rise by riveting in center portion only. Use is made of shortened skin for rigid connection of longitudinal load-bearing members of compartment being mated. Then, compartments are assembled from these panels leaving ends of longitudinal joints of panels not riveted, after which compartments are mated and interconnected. First, ends of respective load-bearing members of compartments are connected, after which skin and connected load-bearing members are rigidly connected. EFFECT: improved quality; increased productivity. 3 dwg
