FIELD: mechanical engineering, measurement of axial distance of holes in parts and units, means providing for interchangeability of large aggregates of machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is fitted with linear indicator of axial distance and units determining axes of holes positioned perpendicular to it. Units are equipped with conical heads mounted for their movement and registration along units determining axes of holes. Difference of distances between conical heads is found by formula K=H+[(D-d)] ctg α, where H is distance between planes of edges of holes on side of device; D and d are diameters of holes; α - is cone angle of conical head. EFFECT: expanded technological capabilities and increased efficiency of measurement process thanks to placement of device into measurement position depending on level of location of holes. 2 dwg
