POSTURE CORRECTOR Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: medical equipment. SUBSTANCE: posture corrector has base made in the form of profiled back with pockets longitudinally extending on outer surface thereof. Flexible plates are inserted in pockets. Posture corrector is further equipped with belt composed of two parts. One part has width reducing toward rounded end and other part is composed of two intersecting wide tapes with ends connected one with another. Tension belts are arranged at an angle of 15-20 deg to vertical axis. Back and belt parts of posture corrector are manufactured from 1.8 mm thick cotton cloth having surface tension of 880 g/ sq.m. The number of core threads per 10 cm is 98. Tension belts are manufactured from elastic tape. Posture corrector is used for curing and prophylaxis of diseases connected with posture back distortion and may be worn under clothing. EFFECT: simplified construction and convenient usage. 1 dwg
