MAGNETOTHERAPEUTIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ACTION BY MAGNETIC FIELD Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2179463 C2

FIELD: medicine, applicable for treatment of gastroenterologic, urologic and oncologic diseases, as well as for painless cleavage of concrements from the gallbladder and ducts, kidneys and ureters with simultaneous regeneration of the non-functioning kidney and on the prostate. SUBSTANCE: the device has a drive rigidly secured on the base, bearing disk installed for angular movement on the outlet link of the drive, and two magnetic field sources, one of which comprises three groups of permanent magnets, two magnets in each group, positioned on the bearing disk at an angle of 120 deg. at an equal distance from its center, the magnets in the groups are oriented to each other by the unlike poles, the disk is placed in a protective housing of magnetopermeable material with slotted holes for passage of the field lines. The other magnetic field source is made in the form of two permanent magnets facing each other by the unlike poles and installed at an angle of 90 deg. to the drive axis with the same plane of this axis and the axis of the pole in the protective housing. The device also has a magnetic panel including four groups of plane magnets positioned on a plate of magnetopiercible material for formation of a magnetic circuit at an angle of 90 deg., the permanent magnets on the panel are oriented to each other by the unlike poles and interconnected by magnetic circuits. Besides, the magnetic panel is installed for movement in the same plane with the magnetic field sources. Permanent magnets with a residual induction of 0.3 to 1 T are used. The method consists in simultaneous action on the region of the sore organ by interacting magnetic field sources. To this end, use is made of the claimed magnetotherapeutic device, and the patient is placed between the magnetic field sources, the action is effected in two stages with conducting of diagnosis between them. In the first stage at least 17 treatments are carried out, and permanent magnets with a residual induction of 1 T are used, in the second stage the quantity of treatments is selected depending on the results of the diagnosis, and permanent magnets with a residual induction of 0.3 T are used. In each stage one of the sources sets up a field at a frequency of 75 Hz, and the duration of each treatment is from 15 to 30 min. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency at an action by magnetic field. 2 cl, 2 dwg
