FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, continuous casting of non-ferrous metals and alloys. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes frame, pulling and braking members, mechanism for gripping ingot and hydraulic drive. Pulling member includes movable traverse bar in the form of table with machined grooves for placing mechanism for gripping ingot. Traverse bar is suspended to hydraulic cylinders. Frame includes two supporting surfaces with machined grooves for placing braking member. Apparatus allows to draw out ingots with different dimensions and configurations and provides possibility for selecting mechanism for gripping ingots depending upon dimensions and cross section of ingot.
