FIELD: metallurgy, namely, foundry. SUBSTANCE: mold is designed for continuous horisontal casting of hollow billets, for example of copper and its alloys. Mold includes water cooled housing in which graphite form with mandrel is inserted. Mandrel forms annular duct inside which seed is placed. Annular duct is joined with bath of furnace through opening made in end wall of graphite form and provided with graphite plug. Member for knocking out graphite plug is arranged along axis of opening joined with furnace bath at end of seed moved by means of guides secured to housing and having stopper for fixing seed position.
