FIELD: shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves delaying spontaneous shrinkage of molded sole at cooling stage by means of mold having rigid plate of predetermined shape; placing plate on sole so that plate edges are in contact with rim specially provided on sole upper surface along sole perimeter. Method allows reduction of sole sizes to be avoided either at final cooling stage or after cooling, and expenses and limitations connected with cutting of sole along the perimeter for reducing sole size to desired sizes to be eliminated.
