Abstract RU 2179639 C1

FIELD: mining industry, support of large-span mine workings. SUBSTANCE: in agreement with first variant process of support of mine workings predominantly of large span includes installation and pressing of capping of arc shape with thrust member and connecting shackles against roof of working, thrust of capping towards sides of working with the aid of thrust member to bring into operation frame of support by principle of arc system with formation of vertical and horizontal components of support reactions. Arc shape is given to capping in process of its installation. With this in mind capping of rectilinear shape with thrust member and connecting shackles on one of its edges is rested with free end against side wall of working, then it is pressed against roof by outward thrust with force sufficient to form rise, later thrust member is moved along capping as far as it goes and is stopped by side wall of working and is fixed on capping by tightening of nuts of connecting shackles. After this columns are placed under capping and effort is removed from outward thrust. In correspondence with second variant process of support of mine workings predominantly with large span includes installation and pressing of capping of arc shape with connecting shackles against roof of working, outward thrust of capping against sides of working to start it work on principle of arc system with formation of vertical support reactions and their horizontal components. Arc shape is given to capping in process of its installation. For this capping is comprised of two members with lap of their edges and formation of rise. Connecting shackles are mounted in point of lap of above-mentioned members, then members of capping are moved apart to opposite sides till their butts rest against side walls of working and are fixed by tightening nuts of connecting shackles. Later columns are placed under capping. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of working thanks to raised carrying capacity of support. 2 cl, 7 dwg
