FIELD: mechanization of stoping operations in coal mines, more specifically, supporting of breakage faces and their junctions with development workings with use of powered support. SUBSTANCE: device has roofing with supporting pivot resting with its bearing platform on head of hydraulic prop, roofing base with hole and limiter of hydraulic prop motion in supporting pivot. Supporting pivot consists of supporting member, two longitudinal and transverse side members rigidly interconnected with one another. Side members together with base of supporting member form free space for location of hydraulic prop head and limiter. Bearing platform of supporting pivot is located on base of supporting member and has on its both side grooves with cylindrical surface in longitudinal direction of roofing. Limiter is made in the form of U-shaped clamps located on both sides of hydraulic prop head along roofing with orientation of their cross-section across roofing and connected with side members by pins passing through holes in clamp walls and side members. One end side of each clamp leans against side members, and the other end side faces hydraulic prop head and has chamfer corresponding to shape of this head. Side surface of hydraulic prop head leans against chamfers in case of its inclination relative to longitudinal axis of roofing in advancing of support unit. Body of hydraulic prop head has through hole oriented along length of roofing to receive axle whose free ends are located in clamp space restricted from bottom by pins on which axle ends may rest with load relieved from hydraulic proper to limit in this manner motion of hydraulic proper along roofing and to exclude falling of hydraulic prop from supporting pivot. Lower part of each longitudinal side member has cutout whose edge may be engageable with side surface of hydraulic prop head in its inclination across roofing during extension of support in process of adjustment of roofing in its transverse direction to roof irregularities. Transverse inclination of roofing in process of its adjustment to roof irregularities is possible within limits set by cutout up to leaning of edges against side surface of hydraulic prop head. EFFECT: improved performance of device and its operating reliability, extended field of device application on powered supports of junction between breakage faces and gate. 2 cl, 6 dwg
