FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: pliable support has upper beam and posts which are connected to each other by overlapping by means of pliable units which are made up of yoke embracing upper beam and post, strip, and nuts. Strip of each pliable unit in its cross-section is of V-shape configuration and is made of perforated length of special profile stretched relative to its vertical axis with remaining clearance between side walls for their possible joining together at installing pliable unit so as to give them springing properties within limits of elastic deformation when support is subjected to rock pressure from side of roof rock matter. V-shaped strip is oriented in unit so that end edges of side walls which are actually side walls of perforated length of special profile are turned in direction of upper beam of support. Closed end of V-shaped strip has cylindrical surface. Aforesaid embodiment of support is of high operational reliability and increased load-bearing capacity due to permanent resistance of pliable unit achieved by stabilized force of compressing components of support.
