FIELD: mechanical equipment of heating and heat-treating furnaces; furnace water-cooled rollers. SUBSTANCE: cooling device consists of water supply pipe, drain box and funnel. Pipe is rigidly connected in trunnion of roller revolving together with it and in bore of drain box by means of sleeve is bolted with flange and with drain box. Drain box is located inside funnel. Water is admitted to flange cavity via flexible hose through nipple. Then, water is fed to cavity of furnace roller through pipe and then water is fed to drain box; after filling the drain box, water flows to funnel and then water is discharged outside through hole. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of sealing roller; enhanced operational reliability. 1 dwg
