FIELD: mechanical engineering; different mechanisms where smooth stoppage of working members is required, especially heavily loaded mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: proposed hydraulic cylinder has sleeve, cover with holes for passage of liquid, rod with piston and adjustable throttling members held by springs and projections; one throttling member is mounted in head end in cover and other throttling member is mounted in rod end. Novelty of invention consists in sleeve form of throttling members. Said sleeve is embraced by outer bush. Spring is located inside sleeve. Each bush has several throttling orifices and their outer surfaces are provided with slots for communicating holes for passage of liquid in covers with rod end and head end respectively. Adjustable throttling member of rod end is mounted on rod immediately after piston for joint motion. Engageable surfaces of sleeves, bushes and rod are provided with rubber collar seals.
