FIELD: superconducting materials. SUBSTANCE: high-temperature superconductors are manufactured from wide-spread materials. In method of invention, layer of copper and nickel-containing alloy is applied in vacuum (degree 10-6) onto copper or nickel wire with 14-class treatment surface at volume ratio 1:1 allowing diffusion of alloy to surface layer of wire metal, after which alloy is coated with metal providing formation of copper-nickel couple with wire metal accompanied by diffusion of metal into surface layer of alloy. Product is further subjected to annealing at 850 to 950 C for 30 to 189 min and cooled together with heating device to room temperature. Purity of copper and nickel utilized in manufacture process should be at least 99.99999. Superconductors can be operated at 300-330K at magnetic field intensity above 100 Tl and critical current density above 106 A/sq.mm. EFFECT: achieved high conducting characteristics at low cost. 2 cl, 1 dwg
