FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of high-temperature superconductors based on mixed oxides of rare-earth elements, barium and copper and can be used in production of high-temperature superconducting wires of the second generation for use in devices requiring continuous quality control of wires, in particular in current-limiting devices, and to a method of quality control of such superconductor. Summary: method of producing high-temperature superconducting tape of second generation, mainly for current-limiting devices, including production of metal tape, application of buffer and functional layers on it, finishing the tape with protective and stabilizing layers of metals and controlling the tape quality by measuring the distribution of resistance along the length of the tape by passing direct current through continuously moving through the current and potential rollers of the tape and measuring the voltage drop of the tape between the potential rollers, wherein the obtained value is compared to a given resistance value of the tape or to the actual value obtained beforehand, and if necessary, an additional stabilizing layer of metal with a compensating resistance is applied on the tape. Also disclosed is a method of controlling quality of such tape.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of quality of tape, possibility of controlling its quality during manufacture, possibility of controlling band resistance HTSC during tape manufacturing, possibility of making tapes with specified resistance.
