FIELD: radio communication. SUBSTANCE: characteristic feature of proposed invention lies in formation of mutually correlating function of input and reference signals over entire region of indeterminacy of time delays of input signal. In this case specified region of indeterminacy is divided into overlapping intervals of T duration with overlapping region τ,, mutually correlating function of input and reference signals is computed in each of specified overlapping intervals, values of mutually correlating functions computed in specified overlapping intervals and corresponding to identical time delays of input signal are summed up. Device for search of signal with use of fast Fourier transform has three storages, unit computing square of module, threshold unit, fast Fourier transform unit, multiplier, unit of inverse Fourier transform, former of spectrum of reference signal, synchronization unit, delay unit, adder.
