FIELD: aircraft and machine engineering industry branches, possibly processes and equipment for welding on end surfaces of thin-wall products. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of cutting groove with radius and depth values in range 0.4-0.6 mm; using special alloy as additive metal in the form of cast ground rod with diameter 2.5-3 mm for welding it onto contact surface until cut groove; going on shield gas supply after termination of welding-on process for time period equal to 10-20 s; at finish working restoring groove with radius 0.6-0.8 mm; then realizing heat treatment of vane; sustaining electric current for welding on in range (50-60)A while using electrode with diameter 1.5-2 mm; performing heat treatment of vane in vacuum furnace for two hours at temperature 950 C and at evacuation degree 10-3-10-4 Hg mm; testing welded on surface and quality of its mechanical working by color flaw detection or with the aid of luminescent paint; then restoring protective coating of vane.
