FIELD: turbine machine engineering, namely restoration of turbine vane length size. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing vane in attachment with copper water cooled plates and fixing vane in it; welding on additive metal on end surface of vane; performing welding process in pulse mode with pulse period exceeding pause period by 2 times; in addition supplying shield gas into welding-on zone through inner cooling cavity open to vane end; going on supply of shield gas after termination of welding-on process during (10-20)s; then working vane, subjecting it to heat treatment and checking it by method of color flaw detection or with use of luminescent paint; using electric current (35-40)A; selecting diameter of non-consumable electrode in range (1,5-2)mm; using argon as shield gas and feeding it through burner with flowrate (5-6)l/min and through cavity of vane - with flowrate (2-3) l/min; realizing heat treatment in vacuum furnace for two hours at 950C and evacuation degree 10-3-10-4 Hg mm.
