FIELD: drilling of holes in water area. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to stationary foundations made of one or several tubular supports rested against bottom of water area and carrying platform with drilling equipment. Method includes reduction of compression stresses in sections of its tubular supports or in their lengths by way of their extension. Extension of tubular supports or their lengths is carried out by force of excessive air or gas pressure pumped into air-tight spaces of tubular supports or of their lengths. In this case air or gas pressure is set in correspondence with analytic expression. Sea drilling foundation has several vertical tubular supports. They rest on shoes and come in the form of joined air-tight sections of pipes. Each section of pipes is fitted with upper and lower plugs and forms air-tight space. Air-tight spaces of supports are filled with material securing pressure that rises with increase of depth of air-tight section. Air or gas pumped under pressure into air-tight space is employed to fill air-tight space of tubular support. EFFECT: raised stability and strength of foundation with simultaneous reduction of diameter of pipes of supports and material expenditure. 3 cl, 2 dwg
