FIELD: underwater drilling on water areas with combination with core retrieval. SUBSTANCE: method includes use of rational operations and adequate design of core holder with locking of removable core receiver in casing shoe. Use of rigid locking of removable core receiver in casing on threaded joint and special design of automatic core holder with movable undercutting knives. Technical result consists in higher operating efficiency of percussive drilling on water areas with combination with core retrieval process, higher reliability of core holder with simplified its design and increased reliability of locking of removable core receiver.
