FIELD: rocket engines of reaction volley fire systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed solid-propellant charge has housing, protection-and-holding layer, head half-charge with spider-like channels, tail half-charge with cylindrical channel and end face cups. Ring step axial cylindrical channel of diameter equal to 0.4- 0.6 of outer diameter of cross-section arms of spider channel and length of channel equal to 0.8-1.2 of thickness of burning arch of half-charge is made at inlet into spider channel of head-charge. Conical section with cone angle of 30-60 deg with maximum diameter on front end face of head half-charge equal to 1.8 - 2.4 diameter of axial channel of ring step is made on end face surface of ring step. Central angle of cross- section arm of spider channel is equal to 0.6-0.7 of central angle of cross-section projection of spider channel. EFFECT: 8-10% increase in volumetric 8-10% increased in volumetric fill factor at 2-5% reduction of values of spreads in output characteristics. 3 dwg
